MOST interesting wedding of the month will be the western homestead wedding of Judith Martyr, of Lakefield, Taroom, and Douglas Day, of Gwambegwine, Taroom, on November 24. The ceremony will be held in the spacious Lakefield reception room which will be decorated with masses of flowers sent from Brisbane and culled from nearby district gardens. Judith and Douglas are 'next-door' neighbours, the
poperties being only eight miles apart. They will live at Gwambegwine— which, strangely enough was once the home of Judith's mother, Mrs. W. J. Martyr. She lived there as a girl when her father man- aped the properly. Judith, who will wear severely classical gown of off-white crepe will be at- tended by a flower girl, Christine Rigby, and a page boy, Paul Day. After the wedding, the 100 guests will be entertained in the Lakefield garden.
