Dorking Manor 1841 Tithe Map:
Inholms Farm, a large and mainly arable farm with some pasture is shown as being owned by Henry Thomas HOPE, of the Deepdene, and in the occupation of James MARTYR. Surrey History Centre would gice acreages etc.
The map also shows Daisy Lodge and Ivy Porch Cottage (now the White Barn) gardens with adjoining pasture sandwiched between Mid Holmwood Lane on the Common and Inholms Farm, also owned by Henry Thomas HOPE and in the occupation of JAMES MARTYR of Inholms Farm. These cottages could possibly have housed labourers from the farm?
