      The Executors of William MARTER's Will were originally a Thomas THOMAS of London, a Merchant and his brother (in-law?) Peter PIGOU, of Chelsea aforesaid, Esquire. The latter is also named as Capt Peter PIGOU who in a codcile of 1768 was taken out as an Executor 'he being now abroad beyond the Seas'.

      In the Will of her husband (see above) her name is referred to as 'Jane (MARTER) Widow'.
