Summary: ... Mrs. Hannah Heisler, who had been dangerously ill for some days, died at her home on the Beverly road, at an early hour Wednesday morning (presumably a reference to August 28, 1889). She was the daughter of the late Charles Marter, of Beverly township, and sister to E. Budd Marter, Edwin K. Marter, Charles D. Marter and Thomas Marter. Indeed she was one of a family of eleven that all reached adult life. Her husband, the late Marcus Heisler, has been dead some years. Her business, that of commission merchant, made her a familiar figure on the river boats and cars, and her demise will be mourned by an extended circle of friends and acquaintances. She was in the sixty-third year of her age. ...
